My therapeutic and coaching working practice
As a counsellor and therapist I work face-face from premises in The Angel Islington, London N1. I also work online. I work on a weekly basis and aim to allocate sessions at a regular time and day.
When I work as a coach, I work face-to-face and online. Sessions are also offered at a regular time, and we will discuss a planned approach to facilitate your needs.
What to expect
Making a choice to seek therapy or coaching is not always easy, but once you have made a decision it marks a commitment to care for yourself and honour who you are in a way that possibly has not occurred before. This commitment will be cultivated in our working relationship.
Some of the methods I use within the therapeutic relationship include talking, writing, drawing, dream work, journaling and guided imagery.
Getting started
Once you have made contact, I will arrange an initial consultation with you. This initial session provides you with the opportunity to explain why you are seeking professional support and your desired outcome from therapy or coaching. During the session, we will assess your requirements and how best to manage them and establish a context for working together. If we decide to work together, I will ask you to commit to a minimum of 6 sessions, at the end of which we will conduct a review to determine what's next.
Therapy sessions are 50 minutes long, including the initial session.
Coaching sessions are 60-90 minutes long, including the initial session.
Fees
My fees are structured according to the current market rates, and I do charge a fee for the initial consultation. Concessions are sometimes available.
